*Equipment Deposit will be refunded at the end of the season when the issued equipment is returned during one of our return dates. These return dates will be set at the end of the season.

The player’s age as of August 1, 2024 of the current year shall determine team level of participation. Player weight will determine position eligibility, i.e., skilled player, X-Man.

Any player weighing heavier than the skilled player maximum weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only.

All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only! No high school students.

*SP = Skilled Player, Any Player weighing more heavier than the skilled player maximum weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only. 

X-Man = A player that weighs more than the maximum weight set per age group.

An X-Man is eligible to participate on the offensive and defensive line within the Free Blocking zone. An X-Man may advance the ball during a fumble or interception.

X-Man may participate on Kick off and Kick off return teams on the front line only. X-Man will be encouraged to wear a jersey number in the 60s, 70s, to be easily recognizable to the officials. X-Man is allowed to be punter and kicker on special teams. Xman will wear SYF authorized (only) sticker on the rear of the helmet.

** Cut Blocking/Low blocking below the waist is NOT allowed at any level, for safety reasons

Sports physical must be dated after April 1, 2024.

All new athletes (not returners from last year) need a school enrollment form (letter with address and date of birth, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead).

1. Medical clearance dated after April 1 of current year.

   In the event where guardian is unable to get the above, then participants may use original or certified copy of birth certificate, military identification card, or passport (no photo copies allowed).
