Participant Certification Requirement:

  1. Medical clearance  (dated after Apr, 1st of current year) 

  2. Signed code of conduct

  3. School enrollment form  on school letterhead or school stamp and signature, that includes student's address and date of birth

    1. In the event where guardian is unable to get the above then participants may use original or certified copy of birth certificate, military identification card, or passport (no photo copies allowed)

  4. Valid and current residential address within Vacaville High School boundaries

  5. SYF waiver and release signed by parents or legal guardians 

  6. AB 2007 concussion awareness form signed by all participants and legal guardians

Welcome to VJB Cheer!

Please join us for another exciting, fun and competitive 2019/20 year. VJB is a non-profit volunteer organization that was created for youth to grow abilities, gain friendships, and build wonderful memories. We have a great coaching staff that is ready for another amazing year! In the 2018/19 season, VJB did extremely well by taking home numerous 1st place trophies. Additionally, our teams were crowned “Grand Champions” twice during the JAMZ Championship Competitions and received 3 “National” Titles at JAMZ Youth Nationals in Las Vegas.

We want you to be part of this exciting cheer organization!

8U (Cadets), 10U (Jr. Pee Wee) and 13U (Jr. Midgets) Season - July 2019 through January 2020

Registration Fee - $225.00
Mandatory League Fundraiser Fee - $50.00
Mandatory JAMZ Camp Fee - $100.00

Uniform Fee for 6U - $330.00
(This includes:  GameDay Shell and Skirt, Shoes, 4Bows, 2 Camp Shirts, 2Camp Shorts)

Uniform Fee for 8U, 10U and 13U - $550.00
This includes: Game Day Shell and Skirt, Competition Liner and Competition Skirt,   Shoes, 4 Bows,2CampShirts and2CampShorts)

Uniform Fittings will be MANDATORY for ALL CHEERLEADERS

  • Uniform Fittings: May 30, 2019 (5:30pm – Tiny Mites (6U); 6:15pm – Cadets (8U); 7:00pm - Jr. Pee Wee (10U); 7:45pm - Jr. Midgets (13U)) at the Vacaville Town Square Library located at 1 Town Square Place, Vacaville, CA 95688
  • Helmet Handout Day: July 13th/Location TBD/9-12pm.
    All Required Paperwork & Vacation Requests Due.
  • MANDATORY Choreography: August 12th to August 18th (Exact Team Times and Location TBD)
  • MANDATORY Stunt Choreography: July 23rd (Exact Team Times and Location TBD)
  • JAMZ Cheer Camp: August 10th & 11th, 8:30am-4:30pm at Vacaville Christian School
  • SYF Jamboree: August 17th (Exact Team Times and Location TBD)
  • Football Games: August 24th, September 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, October 5th/6th, 12th and the Black and Blue Bowl on October 19th
  • Conditioning Weeks: July 29th – August 9th. (M-F, 5:30pm-7:50pm, Location TBD)

Mandatory Competition Dates:

  • October 6, 2019 (SYF South Cheer Qualifier)
  • November 3rd (League Competition)
  • November 10th (Capitol City - Sacramento)
  • December 7th (Slam City - San Francisco)
  • January 11th, 2020 (Adrenaline – Placer Valley)
  • January 23 – 26, 2020 (Nationals - Las Vegas)

Tentative Competition Fee Due Date Outline

  • Capitol City (Sacramento) – Fees due by August
  • Slam City (San Francisco) – Fees due by October
  • Adrenaline (Placer Valley) – Fees due by November
  • Nationals (Las Vegas) – Fees due by November Fees generally vary from $25 to $50. Exact amounts will be given closer to due dates.

***Each Participant is only guaranteed to participate in 1 routine at each competition. Performance of 2 or more routines will be evaluated based upon skill, readiness, and disciplinary history for current season.
